Rebecca Kwan's Bio:
An up-and-comer on the rise, Toronto, ON native Rebecca Kwan moved to Vancouver, BC after leaving her steady, self-made business to pursue her childhood dream of becoming an actress. After training extensively in the Canadian market, she moved to L.A. for a year in search of a new perspective. That experience led her to testing on a major network show, and her momentum was set in motion. In 2021, Kwan booked her first series regular role in the new Paramount+ and CBC Gem show, "SkyMed", as Emma Lin, a ER Nurse working out of a remote nursing station discovering her new life up in Northern Manitoba while assisting in high stakes medical rescues and balancing relationships. Kwan is also fresh off a supporting role on "Our Ladies of Brooklyn", a CBS dramedy pilot from Jennie Snyder Urman (Jane the Virgin, Charmed). She also appeared in Taken for NBC, and the feature film "Mouthpiece", directed by Patricia Rozema, which opened in the Special Presentations programme at TIFF and won the WIFTV Artistic Merit Award for drama at VIFF.
